Apostles Creed Is A Symbol Of Faith Or Christian Creed. In all likelihood, It has originated in fifth-century Gaul, as an advancement of the Old Roman Symbol, the old Latin doctrine of the fourth century. It has been in formal use in the Latin ritual since the eighth century, and likewise in the different current parts of Western Christianity, including the cutting edge ceremony and catechesis of the Catholic Church, Lutheranism, Anglicanism, Presbyterianism, the Moravian Church, the Methodist Church, and the Congregational Church. The articulation “Apostles Creed” is first referenced in a letter from the Synod of Milan dated AD 390, alluding to a conviction at the time that every one of the Twelve Apostles contributed an article to the twelve articles of the ideology.

Apostles Creed Catholic Prayer

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth;
and in Jesus Christ, His only Son Our Lord,
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried.
He descended into Hell; the third day He rose again from the dead;
He ascended into Heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting
