LEX by Nemiroff vodka: a story of precision in every detail
LEX vodka was created with the ambitious goal of combining grain base, filtration technologies and design in one product so that every detail would contribute to the taste. It is based on winter wheat and sweet corn varieties grown on Ukrainian black soil. Each batch of grain is selected and tested to ensure softness and purity even before distillation.
Artesian water from Podillia is added to the grain base. It is purified to remove excess and leave a transparent structure. The result is a clean but not empty taste. It is this combination, black soil grain and water from Podillia, that became the starting point for LEX.
Discipline of the production process
LEX claims to have 13 stages of filtration, and this figure is not just for show. Silver is responsible for purity and removes foreign odours. Platinum smoothes the texture and makes the sip delicate. Amber adds depth and creates a mineral note that is often felt in the finish. After filtration, the drink rests for six months so that the flavour layers come together into a single, balanced profile.
Each stage affects the final result:
- the grain undergoes inspection and provides a clean start without harshness;
- the water is purified so as not to disrupt the texture and avoid unnecessary notes;
- filtration is carried out in stages rather than in a single step;
- six months of ageing evens out the flavour and removes any randomness.
Therefore, LEX by Nemiroff vodka can easily be interpreted as a product where precision is a style. This is reinforced by the bottle. Stranger & Stranger and Saverglass worked on its appearance. Heavy French glass, a matte texture and hand-finished details create the feeling of an object that you want to keep on the shelf. The design does not embellish the drink; it reflects its character.
This discipline is reflected in the taste as silkiness and a clean finish. The aroma has light flowers, white grapes and a hint of fresh grass. Yellow fruits and delicate spices appear in the mouth, and the finish remains mineral and cool.
How to reveal the taste: gastronomy
LEX performs well when it is not interfered with. It has a delicate flavour, so it is important not to overwhelm it with temperature or excessive mixes.
The rule of delicate with delicate applies here, i.e. not spicy and not overly smoked:
- white fish, shrimp, tartare or carpaccio;
- light snacks with a sour taste (pickled cucumber, citrus, capers) — but without the sharpness of vinegar;
- soft cheeses, thinly sliced meat, neutral bruschetta;
- if you want contrast — caviar/salted fish/olives, which emphasise the cool finish.
That’s the essence of LEX vodka. When you serve it properly and without unnecessary fuss, it rewards you with a smooth, clean taste that you’ll want to remember.
